Using laser cutting as a branding tool. This is one of my favorite hairshirts, converted into a book code & then etched into fabric. In this case a strong cotton twill

Here I've stitched curved seams into a fine haboti silk, then folded the fabric before the laser cutting. The letters were cut right through on this piece.
